Story behind the art: Draw my Name

I created a floral lettering piece of artwork and posted it on Facebook, it was the word Happy, from that an old school friend contacted me to commission some art - his daughter’s name written in the same floral style.

I created the piece ‘Hannah’ on A3 textured watercolour paper using a black fineliner pen and added hints of Hannah’s favourite colours using Faber Castell’s Artist Pitt Pens.

I was advised to continue creating names and monogram’s by one of my life coaches but at the time had severe FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and started creating loads of other things I saw other people produce…rather than focusing on what I was clearly good at! But we all have our journeys to go on and here I am now.

If you would like a custom piece of artwork portraying your name, or indeed the name of someone special, please get in touch!
